1. Lack of human resource. Peace and conflict studies is a very new discipline so it lacks scholars in this field.
2. Lack of theories: There are very few theories in peace and conflict studies itself. So this discipline has to burrow theories from psychology, anthropology, international relations, political science, economics etc.
3. Lack of enough Previous researches: Too much researches have to be done in this field.
4. Multidisciplinary approach: Makes it vague and much more complex.
5. Lack of institutions willing to introduce this discipline: Only 200+ universities have introduced this discipline.
