Peace Journalism

Jake Lynch defines peace journalism as "..is when reporters and editors make choice" for what to report and how to report. The media in the world today feeds its customers (general population) with the reports of wars, casualties and bombardments but the media lacks to provide constructive argument on what the hostility or war is about and how it can be solved. Peace journalism is about reporting with the causes and impacts of a conflict and shaping people's mind towards the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Johan Galtung on the other hand thinks Peace Journalism should be about the detailed information of a conflict the causes as well as possible peaceful solutions.

The difference between peace journalism and war journalism are listed as under:
