We stumble upon several problems everyday, some simple and some complex. Everyone has their own way of solving problems. No one want problems in their life but the presence of problems is inevitable. Simple problems are easy to solve since they constitute few variables. However, complex problems are not so easy to solve and can be more and more intimidating. Even people loose their track while solving such problems and invite bigger problems to replace them. The process of solving problem is quite similar to the processes of managing stress. How you deal with a problem significantly affects your efficiency to solve it. Here are some examples which can be used to deal with problems.

Avoid

The first and foremost way to solve a problem is to prevent it which in other words is termed as avoiding a problem. Completing your tasks in time and fulfilling your responsibility helps you to avoid most of the problems in your daily life. However, it is not as easy as it is to say. Everyone works to avoid problems but it is not possible to avoid all of them.

Alter

See a problem as an opportunity. This takes a great deal of analysis of the problem you are facing. However, problems are not absolute and they bring opportunities with them. A problem helps you learn and explore your inner self. The bigger the problem you deal with the bigger the potential remains there to explore and discover yourself and manipulating a problem in your favor. For example: A rough terrain in upper Himalayas of nepal used to be a big problem for people to sustain their day to day life. People there manipulated the problem and used the terrain to attaract adventure tourism and it becomes the best way for their income. Altering a problem means innovative problem solving and turning a weakness into a strength.

Keep the problem away

Sometimes problems at your doorstep tend to blur your vision and you are not able to see what is happening around since the problem itself blindfolds you. Therefore, keep the problem away. Meaning if you are unable to solve a problem and the problem is all over your head take help of someone to visualize your problem and understand the opportunities underlying in it. Even smaller problems tend to be bigger due to their proximity. Don't let the proximity disguise the problem. Keep it far away and observe so that you can see a clear picture.

The Art of Deconstruction

When the problems are complex and people watch at the problem in lump sum it becomes really scary and intimidating. Like other things the problems are also constructed with several elements. Before making any efforts to solve a problem try to understand what it constitutes of and the nature of composition. Break the problem into pieces into several categories and start solving each category at a time. This makes the problem more easier to solve. Never forget sometimes the elements may have been intermingled and the way of dealing with one element may cause significant impact to the other element of the problem. Solving the problem is like drawing a cat. The whole picture may look complex but if you deconstruct it and find the properties of each organs then it can become really simple.
